Pam`s Pub and Grub in Grand Island

Pams is the go to place in Grand Island. Their hash browns are home made. Cooked perfect. They have the tastiest, juciest fried chicken that is seasoned perfectly in the entire state. The service is always fast and courteous. If you are visiting for the first time or just have never tried it; it is a must go taste..

Good food and service

Very good food and friendly staff.

I was staying at Boarders hotel and was walking to Burger King when I walked by Pam's Pub & Grub. Being a fan of small and independent businesses, I give it a go. Man I was not disappointed. Very good food. Excellent fried chicken. Wow. More people needs to know about this place.

We stop by here every time we visit family in Grand Island. It is hearty middle-America homestyle food. Service was extremely attentive. Fun older ladies who obviously know their regulars and are supreme multitakers. They were taking orders from the drive through, filling coffees and waters and serving food like a boss. The pancakes are excellent, as was the biscuits and gravy. We always stop here for at least one meal one every trip to GI. Doesn't matter what meal, it's all good.

Service was fast and great got our food in 5 minutes

Went to the breakfast Buffet on a Sunday morning about 9:30 a.m. the food tasted pretty good but it was all cold the whole buffet was cold

Breakfast was awesome, fast service , friendly staff....definitely going back to try the fried chicken and homemade pies.

I have only ate here 1 time so far and it was for breakfast. Service is outstanding and large variety on the menu. It was very good with large portions. I will definitely be going back and look forward to it.

This place has really fast service and great food. When we ate there it was pretty busy yet we had our food within 10 minutes of ordering. The best part was the fact that the food was obviously just cooked and hadn't been sitting under a lamp, the eggs were steaming on the plate. If you want a nice and filling meal, this is a great place to bring a few people to sit down.

Great food at a great price

This place is completely unprofessional. The waitress forced us to pay her gratuity even though we were a party of 5 (their policy says gratuity is charged with parties of 7 or more). When we asked the manager about it she said “well next time go to the chicken coop” and when we asked to talk to the owner she said “go for it my mom would love to talk to you”. We didn’t get any refills and we ate from the buffet. I wouldn’t take my worst enemy to eat there.

Great burger, ice cold beer.

The breakfast sandwiches were awesome and the Latin woman that works in the evening is a great waitress. Always making sure everything is good.

Went here today after burying my grandpa and on such short notice (day before) they let us dine in peace in the back room and had a table set up for us. A lot of my family had never been there before and we all left happy and extremely full. My husband mentioned we would have to start eating here more and my cousins kid mentioned this was his new favorite restaurant. Between the at-home dinning experience to the more than gracious staff you guys deserve more than just 5 stars. Extremely satisfied with our time there today. Good job!!

This is a fantastic little home town restaurant with excellent food and excellent service. I was working in grand island for a few weeks and Pam's quickly became a daily stop for me. The prices are more than reasonable and the portions are huge. I would have givin 5 stars but the biscuits and gravy tasted like the cheap hotel continental breakfast gravy with sausage added to it... everything else that I had from the menu was absolutely perfect. They also have a buffet on fri and Saturdays and a brunch buffet on Sunday.. I strongly recommend pam's pub and grub

We went on a Thursday night where there used to be a fried chicken buffet it's now a salad bar and unlimited fried chicken and mashed potatoes with gravy made to order and brought to your table. So much better. Always the prices you want and served hot. This helps if you are only interested in legs for the kids or prefer dark meat like thighs or just want breasts.

Authentic local restaurant in Grand Island Nebraska. I have a good friend from the Northern Plains who told me about the food and it sounded great! The Diners depicted in A Prairie Home Companion always sounded so unique...Pam's Pub and Grub fit the description to a T. I had "Hot sandwiches" and a "made rite"...Ate there 4 times over the course of the week. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly! If you left there dissatisfied....it was your own fault.

Disappointed on the Saturday night buffet when you pay 14.99 you expect the stuff full out of cheese, eggs, croutons, butter, shrimp cocktail sauce, low on chicken salads were mixed did not get what we paid for. Don’t mind paying for a good meal.

Ate the buffet there Saturday and got the worst food poisoning in my life. It was so bad and so painful i thought i was going to have to go to the emergency room. Thank god for CBD or I’d probably still be suffering or in the hospital!!!

Excellent down home service. Food is really good. This is my favorite... ROCKY MOUNTAIN OYSTERS. Hard to find...and they are fantastic. If you want wonderful comfort food with dessert...stop here. YUMMIE !!

Simple but great Sunday breakfast buffet. I like the charm of a diner/bar, and the folks were friendly. The parking lot looked full out front but there was plenty of seating inside. We will return!

Pam's Pub and Grub is the quintessential down home neighborhood food venue. The atmosphere is very friendly and low-key, the service is efficient and cordial and the all-you-can-eat chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and full salad bar is fabulous! If you leave hungry, it's your own fault ☺We will definitely enjoy ourselves at Pam's Pub and Grub in the future

They treated us like we were the only ones in the place. The food was great, especially if you like fried chicken!

It was my first time there and the fried chicken and coconut cream pie. I meet some of the cooks and wait staff along with Pam. The food is amazing and the service was funny and friendly. I can't wait till they open back up

Always a great place to eat.server was great also. Grandson wanted a chicken fried steak, so we ordered him the chicken fried steak sandwich with potatoes on the side...he was pleased when he got it. Couldn't even eat it all.

Service was fantastic, fried chicken and smoked pork chops were excellent. Salad bar very very slime on the salad topping. Everything else makes up for that. I would definitely go back. Great food at an inexpensive price. Forgot, I cheated on my diet.... Lemon meringue pie ..,yum

Since we live in Hastings seemingly therefore food chains and good restaurants are slim to none in our area!!! We decided to drive 25 minutes to eat at this dive! Found a long thick blonde hair in my salad! Finished the chicken dinner and told the gal! She replied that there's no one here that has hair that color and long? Well it wasn't mine and my friend is bald~ so she tried to blame it on those who eat at the salad bar! Sorry don't believe it! She did take my meal off but guess what I won't be back!!!

The Sunday breakfast buffet is good old fashioned home cooked food including ham, sausage, bacon, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, french toast, eggs, etc. My favorite.

Great place the Breakfast Hash is the best. But the Buffett is also so good plus the cheeseburgers are too. Just go and try something. You will love it
